Cards are something which we give to our loved ones during a special occasion. Cards are folded material which have beautiful illustartions and sentimental text. Cards are also know as Greeting Cards. Cards are usually given on special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, festivals etc. Cards are given in an envelope which are of different color and styles. There are many companies which make Greeting Cards.

Archies and Hallmark are some of the famous card and gift manufacturing compnies. Cards are not just a piece of paper but somenthing more than that. Cards can make people feel happy and can bring smile on their faces. Cards are available in different prices too.

But did you know that a huge amount of paper is required for making Greeting Cards. One should always go for Recycled Cards as they can save papers from being wasted. Not all of us preserve cards. Cards are beautiful but have a short life. In our own home we can see Cards lying here and there and at the end they land up in the garabage bin. So recycled cards should be chosen by the people.

Today people are also sending Cards through internet. These type of Cards are called E- Greeting Cards. These type of Cards are designed on the computer and then are mailed to the people. E-Greeting Cards require no paper but creates the same emotion which a paper Card creates. Cards have themes and on that basis the cards are made. !
